  • 2017 August - First Cross-Border E-Commerce Conference is organised. More than 400 individuals participated in the free event.
  • 2017 October - Second Cross-Border E-Commerce Conference is organised. International speakers participated and an Amazon Workshop is organised in Turkey for the first time. More than 300 individuals participated.
  • 2018 January - WORLDEF Premium Membership launching meeting is organised. More than 400 individuals participated. 47 companies become Premium Members to start cross-border e-commerce.
  • 2018 April - MasterCard become a sponsor and ground-breaking Cross-Border E-Commerce Conference is organised in İstanbul Convention Centre with more than 700 national and international participants. B2B matching between million-dollar international e-commerce platforms and Turkish brands is achieved for the first time.
  • 2018 April - Europe’s largest cross-border e-commerce conference International Cross Border E-Commerce Summit In Eurasia 2018 is organised in İstanbul.
  • 2018 August - WORLDEF BUSINESS SCHOOL is established. Cross-Border E-Commerce Mini MBA certificate program with İstanbul Commerce University collaboration and Amazon training camps are initiated. On the other hand, the institution gained MEB-approved course status. Cross-Border E-Commerce curriculum is prepared for the first time and initiated after the approval of 5 universities and MEB.
  • 2018 August - First Amazon Meet-Up series is organised in İstanbul Commerce University.
  • 2018 December - DHL became the permanent name sponsor of Cross-Border E-Commerce Conference and TRT became the permanent main media sponsor. Additionally, corporate participation in the Turkish Exporters’ Association is achieved for the first time and the conference is officially a supporter.
  • 2019 January - Cross-Border E-Commerce Management Consultancy service is launched. Cross-border e-commerce strategies are prepared for the leading Turkish retail brands and cross-border e-commerce roadmaps are planned.
  • 2019 January - WORLDEF become the business partner of Channel Advisor in Turkey, global marketplace integrator listing on New York stock exchange.
  • 2019 February - WORLDEF added overseas incorporation and global online payment system such as PayPal services. Within this framework, the “Overseas Incorporation and Payment Methods” workshop is organised.
  • 2019 March - Anatolian expansion started. DHL Cross-Border E-Commerce Conferences with high participation are organised in İzmir with Aegean Exporters’ Association, in Denizli with Denizli Exporters’ Association and Bursa with Uludağ Exporters’ Association.
  • 2019 March - Training collaborations with the chamber of commerce and industry in Anatolia are established. WORLDEF BUSINESS SCHOOL started to organise cross-border e-commerce training in Anatolian cities.
  • 2019 March - Allegro, Poland-based fifth largest marketplace in Europe, shopping mall retail brands and Turkish e-commerce websites are hosted in İstanbul and “Sales on Allegro” workshop is organised.
  • 2019 April - WORLDEF BUSINESS SCHOOL launched online training platform WORLDEF PRIME after 1 year of work. Online training infrastructure with the most comprehensive knowledge about cross-border e-commerce is launched in Turkey.
  • 2019 April - Webinars with global participation as well as participation from Turkey where participants can interactively ask questions are initiated. These webinars are organised on every Wednesday. Panellists all over the world are welcomed as panellists and shared their experiences.
  • 2019 April - “WBS Publication” is established under WORLDEF BUSINESS SCHOOL roof. “Cross-Border E-Commerce from A to Z” which is the first and only cross-border e-commerce reference book in Turkey is published. Preparations for the second book “Sales in Global Marketplaces” started.
  • 2019 May - DHL World E-Commerce Forum Conference is organised with the support of TİM. More than 10,000 individuals participated in the two-day event.
  • 2019 June - Total of three different Cross-Border E-Commerce Seminars 1 in İzmir and 2 in Antalya are organised with the support of İzmir Union of Chamber of Merchants and Craftsman, Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry and West Mediterranean Exporters’ Association.
  • 2019 June - Antalya is covered with cross-border e-commerce! Antalya Cross-Border E-Commerce Conference with high participation brought together cross-border e-commerce professionals with the Mediterranean business circle.
  • 2019 October - Russian cargo company CDEK officially entered to the Turkish market. And “CDEK CIS eCommerce Summit” with the participation of 300 special guests from cross-border e-commerce ecosystem is organised in İstanbul.
  • 2019 October - Cross-border e-commerce professionals were brought together with business circles in Bursa, Ankara and Konya with “Cross-border e-commerce meetings in Anatolia”.
  • 2019 October - Cross-border e-commerce expansion spread to Anatolia. Cross-Border E-Commerce Conference organised in Denizli raised cross-border e-commerce awareness in the region.
  • 2019 October - Google and UPS became the Anatolian conference sponsors.
  • 2019 November - Cross-border e-commerce meetings provided a new vision to cross-border e-commerce enthusiasts in Trabzon, Çanakkale, Biga and Sakarya.
  • 2019 November - WORLDEF started to work with foreign states. First foreign e-commerce forum is organised under the Azerbaijan Ministry of Finance. “World E-Commerce Forum Eurasia Baku 2019” brought together international e-commerce ecosystem in Baku, Azerbaijan. Also, “Azerbaijan E-Commerce Development Report” is prepared and presented to the Azerbaijani government.
  • 2019 December - Cross-border e-commerce is explained to the mining and metal sector in Cross-Border E-Commerce Meetings organised with the collaboration of İstanbul Mining and Metal Exporters’ Association (İMMİB).
  • 2019 December - Cross-border e-commerce seminar is organised in Eurasian region digital printing and industrial advertisement fair İstanbul FESPA Cross-Border E-Commerce Fair with the collaboration of WORLDEF and ARED.
  • 2019 December - Mediterranean Cross-Border E-Commerce Conference 2019 has become a ground-breaking cross-border e-commerce event in the region. A record is broken in Turkey and 3600 individuals and firms who are in cross-border e-commerce sector or who want to be in cross-border e-commerce sector participated in the conference.
  • 2019 December - Çorlu Cross-Border E-Commerce Meetings 2019 organised under cross-border e-commerce meetings in Anatolia raised cross-border e-commerce awareness in the Trakya region.
  • 2020 January - Cross-Border E-Commerce Meetings organised in Edirne gained traction especially among business circles focused on cross-border e-commerce with Europe.
  • 2020 January - “Central Anatolia Cross-Border E-Commerce Conference 2020” is organised in Ankara under TOBB. Approximately 1000 individuals participated in the conferences in the region.
  • 2020 January - “WORLDEF ENTERPRISE” consultancy firm that offers cross-border e-commerce consultancy to companies at a certain scale, overseas incorporation, international taxing and international e-commerce market research services is established.
  • 2020 January - WORLDEF BUSINESS SCHOOL announced to be the official training partner of the Ministry of Commerce. In 2020, 88 cross-border e-commerce training promotion seminars are organised.
  • 2020 January - Türkiye İş Bankası became the main business partner of WORLDEF. The bank became the permanent main business partner in all WORLDEF events and training.
  • 2020 February - Kayseri Erciyes Cross-Border E-Commerce Conference, Eskişehir Central Anatolia Cross-Border E-Commerce Conference and Kütahya West Anatolia Cross-Border E-Commerce Conference are added to cross-border e-commerce conference chains which are organised to raise cross-border e-commerce awareness in Anatolia. Central Anatolia Development Agency, Eskişehir Governorship and Dumlupınar University became our organisation partners in these conferences.
  • 2020 March - Ecom Leaders Club which is the most important e-commerce society in Turkey is launched. Leading e-commerce companies in the e-commerce sector participated in the launching program organised in the Shangri-La Hotel with main business partner Türkiye İş Bankası.
  • 2020 May - Online E-Commerce Forum 2020 which is organised online and free due to coronavirus hosted important e-commerce and cross-border e-commerce firms from the UK and different countries. Turkish firms are gathered with numerous firms around the world.
